The 3rd Annual ABOTMA Songwriting Competion is now closed for 2026.

The judging has started! The song recordings and lyrics have all been downloaded and are being assessed by our two judges.

It's exciting to see the increase in applications this year and the standard of what is being created by a range of songwriters from across Australia (some right on the barrel head when we closed off entries on September 30th!).

Many thanks to all who have submitted their entries. More news to come as judging and the festival come into view!

Songwriting Competition Closed!
