My-T-Fine Stringband includes well-known members of the bluegrass & old-time music community who have enjoyed playing music together for more than twenty years: Lindsay Mar (guitar), Rod Jones (fiddle & mandolin) & Judy Jones (clawhammer banjo).

They present acoustic old-time traditional country music and 1940’s bluegrass, ranging from traditional murder ballads through to bluegrass, via the Carter Family and lively stringband dance tunes.
 
This Sydney-based band has performed at numerous Australian festivals and Conventions and been a featured act at events in the United States, including the Carter Family Fold and the Sweet Creek Gathering.

Rod & Judy were founding members of the Bluegrass & Traditional Country Music Society of Australia more than 50 years ago and have coordinated a monthly bluegrass & old-time music get-together in Sydney ever since.

They have both brought home instrumental and singing awards from fiddlers’ conventions in the USA, and their love of the music draws them back there most years. Lindsay’s Bluegrass News column in Trad & Now spreads the bluegrass & old-time news all over Australia.
