Fast-paced and infectious, Charley Castle leads her Boys in the Well to a unique brand of Australian 'grass. Described as “refreshing”, the quartet connects elements of bygone country and folk with modern sensibilities, spanning the songwriting spectrum from heartbreaking to holler-inducing. In string-band style, the group features acoustic guitar, mandolin, double bass and harmonies galore. The quartet were the Best of the Busking Champions at Tamworth Country Music Festival 2025, out of over 500 acts.
